Answers to the iPhone OS 4 Questions Everyone’s Been Asking
Well, Apple has finally revealed what they have in store for us next.
The new iPhone that Gizmodo.com revealed to the world is indeed the design that Apple has gone with (and it looks great). Sadly there won’t be a bigger hard drive this year, but if you’re like me that’s fine, I don’t even use half my 16gb. It will be in both black and white, and AT&T has expedited their upgrades so that anyone who’s contract ends in 2010 can upgrade to the new iPhone 4, which will go on sale June 24. The new camera with the flash is great, and there is indeed a front facing camera that will finally enable video chatting (wi-fi only) called FaceTime. The new iPhone will also have HD video recording and Apple has even brought iMovie to the iPhone ($4.99). This will be great for people who love to record. YouTube is going to explode, and I hope they upgrade their servers over the next two weeks. The Flip Camera is probably dead though.
The iPhone OS 4, now known as iOS4, will be released on June 21 (two weeks). It will contain all the features previously mentioned, multitasking, folders, email upgrades, iBooks and more. It will also bring the iMovie to the iPhone 3GS and will essentially make the iPhone even more advanced than ever before.
I personally can’t wait to get the iOS 4 download and start using the new features. The iPhone has revolutionized the cell-phone again and has made things even easier for people who love the internet. I can’t wait till these upgrades come to the iPad too.
